Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of financial transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements compliant with UK GAAP
- Reconcile bank accounts, monitor cash flow, and prepare VAT returns
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities during compliance reviews
- Support senior management with financial insights for strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in UK accounting/bookkeeping
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and GAAP standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Effective communication skills for financial reporting and stakeholder updates
