Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable/receivable with precision
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management accounts
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax remittances
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls
- Collaborate with auditors during statutory reviews
- Maintain digital financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Support senior accountants with ad-hoc financial projects
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification accounting experience
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
