Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements for SME clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with VAT returns and HMRC compliance documentation
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement analysis
- Support year-end statutory accounts preparation
- Maintain digital client records using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Provide financial insights to support client decision-making
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting qualification
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Proven experience with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
