Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions monthly
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks and Excel financial records
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with small business accounting a plus
