Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience with financial reporting for small to medium businesses
