Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes during overnight shifts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
- Coordinate with auditors during overnight compliance reviews
- Implement internal controls for financial reporting accuracy
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Lead cross-functional financial reporting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle)
- Night shift availability with reliable transportation
