Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts weekly.
- Process payroll for night-shift employees with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax document preparation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documentation.
- Assist the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and error detection.
