As a Night Shift Bookkeeper, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records during the critical overnight period. You will be responsible for processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting our accounting operations without the distractions of a busy day shift.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and ledgers using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for audit readiness.
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors regarding billing and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM Pacific Time).
- Knowledge of GAAP principles is a strong plus.
