Responsibilities
- Process and manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Process payroll for night shift employees with high attention to detail.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA).
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Functions).
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax regulations.
- Must be available to work the 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM shift.
- Excellent analytical skills and a high level of accuracy.
