Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all entries are posted correctly during night operations.
- Assist in payroll processing and employee time-off requests.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documentation.
- Communicate with team members during day shifts regarding discrepancies or urgent issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable transportation for night shift commutes.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
