Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable with nightly reconciliation cycles
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Manage payroll processing for 200+ employees
- Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Support audit preparation and compliance documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for nightly data entry
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with error prevention mindset
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
