Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries and accruals.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Manage payroll processing for night operations staff.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Communicate with external vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote night shifts.
