Responsibilities
- Execute daily bookkeeping tasks, including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and credit card reviews to ensure 100% data accuracy.
- Post journal entries and manage fixed asset capitalization for the evening batch.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding account status and billing.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with an eagle eye for detail and error detection.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the night shift.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
