Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions and maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts nightly
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor communications
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (6 PM - 2 AM)
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Proficient in financial reporting and reconciliations
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CB) a plus
