Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Perform thorough bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll for multiple entities with strict adherence to tax regulations and accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience required.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or Bachelor’s in Accounting is preferred.
