Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely processing.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing trial balances.
- Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and ledgers in QuickBooks or Xero.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and review financial reports for leadership review.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred, Xero experience a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately under pressure in a night shift setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
