Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and month-end close reports.
- Manage and update employee timesheets and payroll records for the night shift team.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM) as required.
