Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with the general ledger.
- Process payroll data and prepare payroll reports for the day team.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
- Generate financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing.
