Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily transactions and maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable during night shifts
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Coordinate with auditors during night-time document reviews
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Texas tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision
