Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for multiple entities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Lead compliance initiatives including sales tax and payroll audits
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for executive leadership
- Maintain internal controls documentation and SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expertise in GAAP standards and multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle a plus)
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in deadline-driven environments
