Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements nightly
- Process accounts payable/receivable within tight deadlines
- Generate monthly financial reports and variance analyses
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Support month-end closing procedures and audits
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during evening operations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions)
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 2 AM)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in remote evening settings
