Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high attention to detail.
- Prepare and post daily journal entries and adjust entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and variance analysis.
- Communicate with clients via email regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the night shift.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
