Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger entries and financial statements
- Prepare month-end closing reports and payroll documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Manage client financial data using QuickBooks and Excel
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly reviews
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) a plus
