Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts nightly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Support audits by preparing documentation and schedules
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during transition periods
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software for real-time updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift preference
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- CPA or QuickBooks certification highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during evening hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in high-volume environments
