Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions nightly and ensure timely completion
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports for executive review
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple business entities
- Implement internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure audit readiness
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual financial examinations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis and reporting automation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to numerical accuracy
- Reliable transportation for night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
