Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts nightly
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage payroll processing for 200+ employees
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for daily bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in night shift environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
- Overnight availability Sunday-Thursday (10 PM - 6 AM)
