Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable with nightly precision
- Process payroll and tax filings on bi-weekly schedules
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage bank reconciliations and general ledger upkeep
- Support month-end closing procedures with zero-tolerance for errors
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Proven track record of month-end closing accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- QuickBooks Online certification (or willingness to obtain)
