The Role
You will be responsible for managing the daily financial operations of the company during the evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll for the night shift team accurately and on time.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM or 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM).
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
