Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable with nightly accuracy checks
- Process payroll for 150+ employees and ensure timely tax compliance
- Generate monthly financial statements including balance sheets and P&L reports
- Oversee bank reconciliations and credit card transaction verification
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
- Maintain digital filing systems with nightly backup protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with payroll processing and sales tax filings
