Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily transactions, accounts payable/receivable, and bank statements
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements with precision
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Maintain organized digital financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end procedures
- Monitor financial discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and California tax regulations
