Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions during overnight hours
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for assigned clients
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support audits by providing accurate financial documentation
- Collaborate with day-time team for seamless financial operations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (Advanced functions)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) a plus
