Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy across multiple client portfolios
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts nightly
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Generate monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheets) for executive review
- Maintain digital filing systems with audit-ready documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly compliance reviews
- Implement process improvements to reduce reconciliation discrepancies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates <0.5%
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
