Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions during overnight shifts
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing for multiple business units
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions for data analysis
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and error detection skills
- Ability to thrive in overnight shift environment (10 PM - 6 AM)
