Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Prepare financial reports including profit/loss statements and balance sheets
- Manage payroll processing for 50+ employees using ADP system
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and GAAP standards
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Support tax preparation documentation for CPA firm partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with financial discrepancies
