Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within nightly deadlines
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Manage payroll processing for multiple client entities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions)
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 2 AM, Sunday-Thursday)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation strongly preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of Texas tax regulations
