- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions nightly
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Assist with quarterly VAT submissions and year-end audits
- Utilize Xero and QuickBooks for real-time data management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in UK/EU context
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent accounting qualification
- Expert proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Deep understanding of UK tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
