Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and code vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness against purchase orders and receipts.
- Process payments via ACH and checks in a timely manner to ensure no late fees are incurred.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate with vendors regarding invoice questions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain the AP aging report.
- Assist in month-end close processes, specifically focusing on AP account reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and AP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Must be available to work 12-hour night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
