Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries, ensuring all transactions are posted accurately and on time.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Process accounts payable invoices and manage vendor relationships.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and trial balances.
- Review and audit expense reports to ensure compliance with company policy.
- Support the external audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Utilize accounting software to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping (required).
- Ability to work effectively during night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) (required).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP standards (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
