Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processing with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Review and approve invoices for payment according to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
