Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Process payroll for multiple entities with high accuracy.
- Review and maintain general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Assist the finance team with month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to night shift operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
