Responsibilities
- Perform nightly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and post daily journal entries and adjustments for the closing period.
- Generate and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and balance sheets, to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and company financial policies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary schedules and supporting documentation.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring data integrity and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
