Responsibilities
- Financial Processing: Accurately process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions during off-hours.
- Reconciliation: Perform nightly bank reconciliations and general ledger adjustments to ensure data integrity.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation (W-2s, 1099s).
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records and reporting comply with GAAP and local regulations.
- Asset Management: Conduct periodic audits of physical and digital assets within the office.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of general accounting experience; night shift experience is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM).
