Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation, during the night shift.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and adherence to GAAP standards.
- Generate accurate financial reports and analyze variances to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and audit necessary financial documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process payroll adjustments and manage general ledger entries efficiently.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure a seamless transition of financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong preference for night shift availability.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
