The Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, ensuring our books remain in perfect order while the rest of the world sleeps. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
- Manage payroll processing specifically for the night shift workforce.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies during the close process.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong analytical skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a low-traffic environment.
