Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processing during off-hours.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close procedures with a focus on accuracy.
- Prepare and review financial reports, trial balances, and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
- Communicate findings and discrepancies to the day-shift management team.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably within a night shift or 24/7 operational environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule.
