Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with a focus on zero-error accuracy.
- Perform month-end close procedures, including trial balance preparation and variance analysis.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting packages.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding billing status and account discrepancies.
- Manage digital document archiving and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a night shift or 24/7 finance environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) required.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
