Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Ledger Operations: Oversee the daily posting of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all accounting records.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor statements, and manage accounts receivable collections efficiently.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and internal control policies.
- Support Audits: Assist external auditors during year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and secure filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting, with specific preference for night shift experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to detect errors and ensure high-quality data accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Availability: Must be available to work a stable night shift schedule (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
