Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Conduct comprehensive reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and subsidiary ledgers
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and accruals
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial reviews and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Monitor financial data for anomalies and implement corrective actions as needed
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes through data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with night shift or remote work background
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (including advanced functions), and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage complex datasets
- Proven experience in month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
