Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring all invoices are processed within the nightly deadline.
- Prepare and review nightly financial reports, including trial balances and variance analyses.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
- Conduct internal audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documents and filing systems.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to resolve any outstanding financial issues or queries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with a preference for night shift or high-volume processing experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work a Night Shift schedule (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity levels.
