Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare nightly journal entries and adjust accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Perform fixed asset tracking and depreciation calculations.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
